To Do Lists.........

This morning I had a list as long as my arm to start on once I come back from the doing the school run. Snow is still on the ground here in the Midlands and after i've just seen the weather forecast my happy dance has gone out the window. That was until this just turned up

My project life order.

 

I can now really get my teeth into my Project Life 2013 album. As ive ordered some pre designed journalling cards these are to add in with my own stash.

 

Next job after doing my happy dance was to get tea ready for tonight. Plan is Mild Chicken curry as my 4 year old love it. Plus it will warm everyone up.

 

Mild chicken all in one pot curry.

 

Onwards and upwards cleaning the house,washing and ironing just in time to collect my little man from school and freeze in the playground. Only 3 more days till half term so back to my list making for half term and Thomas' up and coming 5th Birthday party x.

Monday 11th February 2013

More Snow Monday ..........................................


Here in the Midlands we awoke to another delivery of snow.

Today my father in law turns 65 today should be a happy day but my mother in law is having to say a final goodbye to her best friend. So a mixture of emotions today.

As the weather over the weekend was cold and wet hubbies football got called off due to water logged pitch. We took thomas to see Wreck It Ralph in 3d.

 

My Little man loved .

 

Also over the weekend I managed to complete nearly all my pages for January Project life. Still awaiting 2nd photo order to fill in the gaps.

New Years Day

 

First snow play day.

 

Hopefully next time I post I can get better photos and ones that rotate as well.

I just love the colour.

Two Crops In Two Days......

Bromsgrove Crop

Two posts in two days i'm amazing myself!  I've had such a good weekend on Saturday I went to Bromsgrove's cop first of the year. We had a great turn out, I did Deb Hickman super valentines card class. We got to use some of the brand new products from Stampin Up.

The card I made to send to my husband for Valentines Day.

 

 

And I learn't a few new techinques. So whilst on my crafty roll of actually getting something done at a crop and not just drinking tea and talking for a change! I made a start on my Januray and February Pages for project life. Which Im hoping to share on here in a few days once my photo order arrives from Photo Box.

 

Second Crop At Solihull

So having left my crafty stuff in my boot of the car over night ready to pick up where I left off. I made it safe and sound to crop as its very cold and ice on the M42. Made a cuppa and settled down to chat with friends and do Morag's Crop Class which I will share a photo of once I finished it. I carried on putting bits together for my project life pages. And I even managed not to spend any money at the crop shop this month.Plus I've nearly finished January's class again waiting for photos to arrive. I know for sure that the first two months of the year will be mainly pictures of snow and anything winter realated.

This Morning the Midlands awoke to another dusting of snow and ice .

 

 

Not as much as in past weeks but its still very cold I can't wait for the yellow snowflake to disappear from the dashboard of my car and see tempartures in double figures. Bring on the spring.

A Very Happy Monday.......... Monday 4th February 2013

Well  I haven't blogged in so long and my new year plan was to post at least once a week. I blinked and missed January.It seems strange to think it now but this time two weeks ago everything was covered in a blanket of snow, and then it disappeared overnight.

Yet me and my little family and friends had great fun in it and I took so many wonderful winter snowy photo's but it was starting to become a pain slowing down day to day life. In true it was very pretty for 48 hours but after that id had enough.

Generally this week has been about catching up on all the jobs I hadn't done as My little man had a few snow days off school and once the snow had gone the heating broke down at school. So another day at home doing painting,play doh and playing skylanders!
